1 Maccabees 7:11-13

¹¹ And they gave not attention to their words; for they saw, that they came with (a) great host.

¹² And the congregation of scribes came together to Alcimus and Bacchides, for to ask (for) those things that be just;

¹³ and the first Hasideans, that were among the sons of Israel, and they asked of them peace. (and the Hasideans were the first, that were among the sons of Israel, that asked for peace from them.)
